History of Mirch Masala
Mirch Masala was born to cater for Ahemdabad’s craving for a ‘hatke’ dining experience. The idea was to familiarize the concept of ‘dhaba’, albeit in a more sophisticated and homely environment. The result was opening of the first Mirch Masala on C.G. Road, Ahmedabad in 1992. The restaurant was decorated with vintage radios, hand-painted walls, transistors and mesmerizing framed posters of classics from Bollywood’s golden era. The charming ambiance, along with the authentic preparation of North Indian delicacies using in-house khada masala and impeccable service, was embraced by the people of the city. Since then, Mirch Masala has become a place to create memories.
