Concept of Mirch Masala
Mirch Masala restaurant is deeply inspired by the highway-side ‘dhaba’ restaurants, mostly found in the state of Punjab. The popularity of these dhabas has made it a part of the culture in that part of the country. Dining at these dhabas is now a trend in the urban cities, something a young restaurateur – Mr. Rushad Ginwala had foreseen long ago. Along with a team of professionals, he came up with an idea of decorating a restaurant with a rustic ambiance complete with life-size rickshaw, huge truck tyres, old transistors and radios, and other old-world paraphernalia. This success of this visionary idea is what has become almost synonymous with Mirch Masala in cities across Gujarat and other states.
